Advocacy and Charity Work
As a result of her near-death experience, Geela has embarked on a lifelong and passionate advocacy to support important human and animal causes in an entertaining yet informative way through her different endeavors. Some of the causes she is passionate about are: education, youth violence & bullying, peace & nonviolence, women empowerment, the environment and adoption of rescued dogs.
As a long time humanitarian and a recognized activist Geela has been working tirelessly to help impoverished kids, protect the environment and animals, and advance the cause of education and nonviolence while helping victims of natural disasters.
Through her nonprofit organization One Spirit, One World she has launched a number of awareness and fundraising campaigns to help support human and animal causes in a collaborative effort with business and community leaders, noted spiritual leaders, high governmental officials and like-minded celebrities. The launch of her recent campaign Operation Healing for the World & Giving with the Stars featured her charity CD For the Love of God in order to help advance the cause of nonviolence.

In order to bring greater visibility to her important advocacy efforts Geela has leveraged the star power and celebrity status of her unusual dog Cutie, The Lion Dog. She is currently launching a national awareness and fundraising campaign called Fur-ever Friends: until no dog is left behind to help inspire adoption of rescued dogs while helping to support partner organizations who are dedicated to advancing the cause. She has been contributing her time and talents to support numerous causes and reputable nonprofit organizations such as UNICEF and The Cancer Society including support for leading school districts such as LAUSD often in a collaborative effort with celebrities and sports organizations such as The Los Angeles Lakers to help kids in inner-city schools stay in school and off drugs, and VH1 helping to raise funds for victims of AIDS in children in Africa. Geela has contributed her talents and expertise also in the area of education and youth violence to the campaign of the Los Angeles City Council. She has created a unique multi-approach solution to effectively tackling America’s public education crisis and youth violence included in her 55-page special report.
Geela offers a unique approach to solving the growing societal problems through spiritual solutions guided by her divinely inspired system for achieving any goal called The Principles of Successful Living™. “My ultimate vision is to start a spiritual revolution whereby integrity and respect for the sanctity of life become the new buzz words and goals worth pursuing beyond the pursuit of fame and fortune because it’s the only condition for creating lasting total prosperity both on the individual and global level while experiencing the life we were all meant to live with real joy and purpose,” Geela concludes.
