Failures came first …
Somebody had to fight them through. This time it's you. Behind any stories of success, you will find years of frustration. And it's hidden silently behind that single accomplishment.
Come on, shed those tears and fight again. If God be for you, who can be against you?
Just give it another big blow! Don't be a holdout. Go all out. Do this, and life will not hold out on you.
If you're as far down as you can get -- that there's no further down you can go; Congratulations! The only direction that you can take now is UP.
Hey! There's no defeat! There's no failure! They're only temporary setbacks.

The Secret To Joyful Living
Whether or not you’re ready for it, one day everything comes to an end.
There will be no more sunsets. No more minutes, hours or days.
All the stuff you’ve accumulated, be it precious or forgettable, will be transformed to someone else.
Your health, reputation and power will fade away and evaporate into oblivion.
It doesn’t matter what you owned or what you owed.
Your anger, hatred, frustrations, and envy – all will be gone.
Likewise, all of your hopes, aspirations, plans and To Do lists, all will evaporate.
All the victories and losses that once seemed so important will be gone and be no more.
In the end, it wouldn’t matter where you came from or what side of life you’ve lived. It won’t even matter if you were once beautiful or wise.
Even your sexual orientation and skin color will be meaningless.
So, what does matter?
How would your days on earth be measured and worth?
What will make a difference is not what you have bought, but rather what you have built.
It’s not what you’ve achieved but what you’ve given.
It’s not your success but your importance.
It won’t mater what you’ve learned but what you’ve taught.
What will make a difference is every act done with integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched, strengthened or encouraged others to follow your footsteps.
What’s important it’s not your capabilities, talents and abilities, but your character.
It doesn’t matter how many people you’ve known, but how many people will feel a genuine sense of loss because you’re gone.
What matters it’s not your memories but the memories that will be left behind among those who loved you.
It doesn’t matter how long you’d be remembered, but by whom and what for.
To live a life of meaning is not something that happens accidentally. It’s not a matter of circumstances, but choice.
Do it Anyway
People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be frank and honest anyway.
People favor underdogs but will follow only top dogs. Fight for some underdogs anyway.
People may need help, but may attack you if you help them. Help people anyway.
What you spend your years building may be destroyed overnight. Build away.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give the world the best you have anyway.
Remember, the fundamentals of a person are not in substance, but in spirits.
A Prayer of Compassion
Lord help me
To bring comfort where there is pain
Courage where there is fear
Hope where there is despair
Acceptance when the end is near
A touch gentle with tenderness, patience and love
There is No Death
I am standing on the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her until at length she is a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, “There! She’s gone!” Gone where? Gone from my sight that is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side, and she is just as able to bear her load of living weight to her destined harbor.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, “There! She’s gone!” there are other voices ready to take up the glad shout, “There she comes!”
And that is dying.
What A Wonderful Way To Explain It
A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the
examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what
lies on the other side."
Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the
other side?" The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing... I know my Master is there and that is enough."
