Without ever taking any vocal coaching, Geela started her musical career at the age of 12, already doing live performances for pay, including one for the prime minister of Israel and many high governmental officials and dignitaries. At the age of fifteen, she received an award for Best Performance at a National Singing Competition (the equivalent of American Idol) for which she received rave reviews and national media coverage. After high-school Geela would become the lead singer for the most prestigious band in Israel (the Israeli Air Force Band). She would also participate in several highly publicized international events in which she represented the state of Israel while touring extensively throughout Europe and receiving rave reviews and offers from major European record labels. But Geela’s heart was in America. So, at the age of nineteen, she packed her few belongings and made her way to America, the Land of Opportunity, in search of the American Dream. She had no money, no support system and did not know the language or the customs. It was, in short, a complete culture shock.
Despite years of constant struggle, which included poverty, discrimination, language barrier, and intense loneliness resulting from separation from her family and friends, Geela felt blessed to have the opportunity afforded her, an opportunity that many native-born Americans take for granted. Adversity didn’t make her bitter, but better. Hardships merely brought out deep inner wisdom and strength in her and were used as a springboard to success. Staying true to her vision without compromising her principles or integrity, she was eventually able to overcome incredible obstacles to achieve the American Dream with mega success and most importantly while discovering her true calling of which she became extremely passionate about.
With incredible musical talent and universal appeal Geela’s singing career blossomed instantly in America with over 200 shows a year, performing alongside top recording artists before large audiences and in major international events. Her credits include many albums in different languages (she sings in 10 different languages authentically) and awards including for Best Performance at the World Song Festival at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and the prestigious OTI Latin Song Festival (broadcasted to 500 million viewers worldwide) and an award for Appreciation from the Los Angeles Art Academy for Outstanding Performance and Artistic Contribution.
Just as her childhood dream to make it big in Hollywood was about to be fulfilled, she encountered a life-changing event - a horrific car crash from which she walked away miraculously. The car crash resulted in a near-death experience leading to the discovery of her true calling - to serve God and spread his message of hope for all through her many ‘gifts on loan from God’ as she likes to refer to them. It became clear that the reason she came half-way around the world and ended up in America was not for self-fulfillment, but rather to fulfill a mission for a higher purpose - to become the messenger of the word of God in a way that brings all people together with the recognition that we’re all connected by the spirit that connects us all while promoting healing and preservation of the natural world. And so, what started as a quest for self-fulfillment eventually turned into a quest for making a meaningful difference while contributing towards making the world a better place for all.
It was a turning point in Geela’s life musically as well. After that, she would only write and record transformative music with a purpose to uplift, empower and enlighten while spreading the word of God. This was noted by Jason Johnson, Editor of Pepperdine University’s Leading Publication who said that, “In an age when dollar signs rule the entertainment industry, it’s hard to find an artist who is trying to make a difference in the lives of his or her audience or find someone with more passion and vision than Geela.” Incredibly, as a result of that life-transforming experience, Geela also gained some unusual abilities ranging from healing and psychic abilities to composing music without the benefit of playing any musical instruments. Geela’s critically acclaimed and timeless CD The Veil of Life, which was personally endorsed by Deepak Chopra, and the charity CD For the Love of God are a testament to that miracle.
While over the years Geela’s inspirational music has touched the hearts of hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide, many did not know that her message-oriented music was literally divinely inspired. Nor did they know that she is self-taught and she composes music without the benefit of playing any musical instruments and writes in a language that’s neither her first or second and in different genres successfully. Geela’s incredible journey and miracles are chronicled in her best-selling book The American Dream, which was personally endorsed by Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of Chicken for the Soup series.

Geela’s ultimate vision is to take her shared mission to new frontiers by establishing a unique socially-conscious multi-media company with the goal of providing a multi-solution approach to the growing societal problems so as to create a better future for all and the next generation in particular by providing spiritual solutions to societal problems so as to achieve global transformation through personal transformation. The focus would be on global peace, preservation of the environment and education as necessary conditions for creating true and lasting prosperity. As such, it would include having her own television talk show and releasing transformative movies, books and music. The launch of her current campaign of hope Operation Healing for the World & Giving with the Stars is but the first step in the right direction.
Sure, big ideas always need big partners, but with her Silent Partner on her side, Geela believes that nothing is impossible for those who live a purpose driven life. Her motto? Give back, give all and never give up. Also, trust that you will prosper for as long as you do it all for the love of God. Now, there are individuals for whom the phrase ‘poetic justice’ couldn’t have been more appropriate. Considering the unbelievable amount of blood, sweat and tears and most of all hope, and decades of unmatched dedication that went into fulfilling a vision whose time has come, Geela’s growing success is undeniably justified and well deserved.
