If you enjoy reading inspiring and transformative books such as The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, and/or books by Deepak Chopra, and Mark Victor Hansen’s Chicken Soup For The Soul series, (all of whom endorsed Geela’s works) then you’ll want to read Geela’s critically-acclaimed and bestselling book The American Dream.
The American Dream is a unique blend of self-help, inspirational and entertainment. With many spiritual dimensions, the book offers an extraordinary human-interest story unlike any other. It takes the reader from the edge of their seat to the edge of the universe as it explores the mysteries of the universe including a riveting account of life beyond the earthly existence based on a near-death experience after surviving a horrific car crash. Geela refers to it as “The Black Hole Experience.” This life-transforming event resulted in her gaining unusual abilities and powerful insights into the human condition, and man’s true identity and essence. It unlocks the secrets shared by so many highly successful people of all times as it reveals how to correctly harness the power of the sacred universal laws to effectively overcome any obstacle and create practical miracles leading to a life of true prosperity with real joy, meaning and peace. The book shows the reader how to have a profound connection with God – beyond all preconceived ideas, dogma and superficial barriers.
Mastering the art of the possible is at the heart of Geela’s book, which also contains her critically-acclaimed Principles For Successful Living™, a unique divinely inspired and spiritually based system designed to help anyone regardless of their circumstances transform their own lives and the world around them. Geela’s own growing success is attributed to living by these proven principles, which are shared by many highly successful people.
The book also offers a fascinating glimpse into the dark side of the entertainment world, giving credence to the adage that not all that glitters is gold, and the conventional wisdom “Be careful with what you wish for.”
The American Dream tells the amazing story of Geela Parish as a young immigrant who came to America, the land of her dreams, in search of The American Dream – to fulfill a childhood dream to become a famous singer against all odds and the wishes of her parents.
Only this particular immigrant story has a fascinating twist.
Geela, who came to America with no money or support system, was able to overcome incredible obstacles and struggles unique to immigrants including discrimination, the language barrier and intense loneliness resulting from separation from her family and friends, to achieve the American Dream, only to discover that the newly evolved American Dream was an illusion and an empty experience for eye-opening reasons she describes in her book. However, just when she was about to pull the plug on her dreams, a life-changing event – surviving a horrific car crash – led to the discovery of her true calling to serve God. And so, what started as a quest for self-fulfillment eventually evolved into a larger than life quest for helping others on their own life journey with the focus on promoting a culture of peace, healing and the preservation of the natural world.
Geela’s teachings including Success Redefined and Random Acts of Kindness wisdom have helped countless of people to experience a more fulfilling life while helping to change the world around them in the spirit of making a living while making a difference, while experiencing the rewards of going from making a living to making a difference.

The songs in the critically-acclaimed CD The Veil Of Life are as diverse as Geela's audience and include everything from the passionate and sensuous flamenco guitar work in "Heaven", to the emotional longing of "Sahara", to the reflective and contemplative ambiance of "Like A Circle"(for New Age lovers), to the salsa-flavored dance track "Bailalero." In addition, the album contains the innovative fusion of a Persian/Moroccan beat in "Faith Is Magic".
One of the songs on the album is entitled Sahara. It is about our eternal struggle to survive and transcend the pain of living. The title "Sahara" was inspired by a chance meeting with a nomad in the middle of the desert. The image of that nomad invoked an intense feeling of loneliness, yet connectedness to something larger than life itself. In a moment of instant enlightenment, Geela realized how joy and pain are both essential parts of the human experience.
In "Like A Circle", Geela captures the hauntingly beautiful sound of the rhythm of life; a sound which allows the listener to reach a higher level of consciousness. The underlying message of the song is to convey the liberating truth that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but rather spiritual beings having a human experience. As expressed by Geela's lyrics, “...like a circle, life has no beginning or end.”
As a musician who constantly hears music in her head, Geela comes up with some songs right on the spot. Bailalero was such a song. The word bailalero itself has no meaning. It was created simply as part of the process of composing the music. When Geela was finished composing, the word bailalero was a perfect fit in the song and captured the essence of the Latin beat- and so it was left in. The song is about what Geela calls the "Dance of Life" and the importance of living life to its fullest.
